— Though Arrogant Fools Mock God, God Shall Have the Last Laugh & Why Can't I Own A Canadian? (with Rebuttal)

By on

At the end of these my comments I will list an email, that is a “letter to the editor” (dating back to at least 2002) that has been posted at many websites, written and circulated by people who hate God and who are spiritually blind and by those who have no comprehension of holiness or morality.  God is SOVEREIGN.  He is Creator and Lord and King.  He is the Lawgiver.  The Lawgiver determines the Law; His subjects do not determine for themselves which laws they want to recognize; that is not obedience, but self-pleasure, deluding itself that it is obedience.  God does things for His Own Pleasure, after His Own Counsel, according to His Own Will, for His Own Glory.  All of our suffering is the result of turning from what God commanded and it is not an excuse to claim that God’s ways are “archaic”. Those who think so do not believe in God.  They believe in a false god they have made in their own mind after their own image.  Those who MOCK what God commanded MOCK GOD.

“Blessed is the man whom the Lord REBUKES!” (Psalm 94:12)

—because if ye be without rebuke or chastisement, ye are not sons but bastards (Hebrews 12:8).

Christ, the Personification of Wisdom declares,

“He that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul; all those who hate Me love death” (Proverbs 8:36).

“There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” (Proverbs 14:12)

“...the Word of our God shall stand for ever.” (Isaiah 40:8)

“23...the Word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. .... 25But the Word of the Lord endureth for ever.” (I Peter 1)

“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My Words shall not pass away.” (Matthew 24:35)

“Not one jot or tittle shall pass from the Law or the Prophets...” (Matthew 5:18)

God is Holy, Perfect, and Immutable.  He commanded us to be Holy as He is Holy.  That Standard of Holiness cannot change because it is a relection of His Holiness.  Any change would be to unholiness and imperfection.  Morality does not change.  Every command that God gave is a moral issue.  Morality is the difference between right and wrong.  Christ, when He forgave, said “go and sin no more”.  Christ said that He did not come to destroy the Law and that not one jot or tittle would pass from it.  Immorality never becomes morality.  Evil never becomes good.  Abominations never become wholesome.  The last books of the Bible written in the NT, the epistles of John, frequently talk about sin, what we should do if we sin, and declares that “sin is trangression of the Law”; and that if a person says that he knows God and does not keep His Law he is a liar and the truth is not in him; and if we sin we have an Advocate with the Father (Christ Himself), and that God is Holy and Just to forgive our sin (“Just”, since Christ already bore that Judgment for the elect) and cleanse us of all unrighteousness.  All these statements would be nonsense if the Law was abolished (which those who are in spiritual blindness, think that Paul says).  Christ did not cancel the Law, He cancelled the curse, the sin-debt against His elect who turn from death unto life and obey through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

[* The Law was not abolished or cancelled—the CURSE of the Law, the Judgment that was against us (the Death Penalty) was cancelled because Christ paid it for His elect.  The entire Law itself is in full force, except those specific laws that dealt with blood sacrifice of animal victims for atonement—that is the only part of the law that pre-figured Christ, which was the Schoolmaster to point to Christ, the Perfect Lamb of God.  Those who violate the Law of God (His “House Rules” that He commanded that His children obey) show that they are not of God; not converted.  Jesus said, “My sheep know My Voice and follow [obey] Me” and “the voice of a stranger they will not follow”.  Christ said that He did not abolish the Law.  Any “Christian” who believes the opposite of what Christ said, is not of Christ’s sheep (or he is really, really stupid and not yet converted).  Keeping the Law plays no part in salvation; it never did.  But it is the fruit that God said His people will bear if truly converted.  Those who do not bear that fruit are not part of Christ, the True Vine (they are part of some false vine).  “Walk in the Spirit and ye shall not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.”  What are the lusts of the flesh...? —everything that God forbade.  Obedience is a sign that we are His children.  If ye be disobedient and be without chastisement, ye are bastards and not his children.  Those who survive the coming wrath will only be those of His people who have the Faith / Testimony of Christ Jesus and who keep the Commandments of God.]

All sin is a moral issue, including the Sabbath.  What part of “Thou shalt not!” and “This shalt thou do!” do you not understand?  What part of “holy”, “hallowed”, “sanctified” don’t you understand?  What part of “throughout all your generations for ever” don’t you understand?  Modern perverts who violate the laws of sexual relations and marriage (race, gender, age, incest) who fancy themselves as “Christians” don’t consider their perversions “sin”.  So it is in most all other areas of morality.  Satan has fooled the modern Church even as he did Eve: “Ye shall not die”.  Sin brings spiritual death.  God does not hear the prayers of those in sin (whether wilfull or ignorant*1)—those who turn from hearing His Law, their prayers are an abomination.  This is why Christendom is being destoryed—God does not hear our prayers.  God will not hear such prayers until sin is recognized and repented of.  It is no mystery what sin is.  It is all recorded quite plainly in God’s Word.  Sinful “Christians” who love their sin more than God, simply refuse to believe it and make up many “excuses”*2 why they think those laws no longer need to be obeyed.  All those excuses are vapid; and they are sin itself.  It is sin to justify sin.

[*1 The loss at the battle of Ai is a prime example, because one man stole booty that was accursed / dedicated to God, because Jericho represented the firstfruits of the Conquest of Canaan.

*2 The Law was abolished; it is archaic; it was just for the “Jews” [sic, Israelites]; it was only for a time, we are under grace; things were different back then; it was “ceremonial”, etc.  However, they pick and choose; but they ignore passages that say salvation is only for Israel (not the Jews, but the true Israelites of the Bible, whose legitimate descendents are the Anglo-Saxon, Celtic, and related peoples of Christendom.  The Jews / Israelis are the Edomite Canaanites, the very worst enemies of God’s people, who infiltrated Israel and absorbed or displaced true Israel, and then stole their identity—even as is happening to all of Christendom by the entire Third World (which the Jews themselves proudly brag that they are orchestrating).]

Sin is not merely what sinful man (most Christians included) is willing to recognize as sin, but what God has declared sin to be in His Law.  What God declared to be sin never becomes non-sin.  Abominations never become wholesome.  Obedience is not “multiple choice”.  To obey only the laws that you want to obey is not obedience; it is doing what you want while entertaining the noble myth that it is obedience.  “Christians” who think that they can pick and choose which of God’s laws they consider to be “moral issues” and which they by their own declaration claim are not, are no better than nonchristians who think that moral originates anywhere outside the Bible (and those who think so have not even begun to think; and they recognize some man or body of men as gods who have the right to arbitrarily impose their will on everyone else).

[See Dr. Gordon Clark’s, A Christian View of Men and Things and Essays on Ethics and Politics (inquire).]

Likewise, those “Christians” who eagerly (and falsely) label any law they don’t want to keep as “ceremonial”, are hypocrites and liars at worst; or at best, profoundly spiritually retarded.  We are not moral “free agents” and we are not here on a sight-seeing cruise.  We are here to serve God and do His Will and those who do not are not of God (but there is always hope that God may convict them through His Holy Spirit and give them repentance unto life).

[Though many illogically declare, the dietary laws were not “ceremonial”—and find for me any verse in the Bible that calls certain laws “ceremonial”.  God said that if we obeyed the dietary laws we would be free of sickness.  How is that “ceremonial”.  Anything that was ceremonial was for salvation.  Physical health is not for salvation.  Is obeying your parents also merely “ceremonial”...? —it is the first commandment with promise (long life).  However, all sin breaks fellowship and God does not hear the prayers of those in sin.  God said if we eat animals that He forbade we defile ourselves and make ourselves abominable.  Abominations never become wholesome.  God said if we defile our bodies—which are His temple, He will destroy us (I Corinthians 1:17).  Peter’s Vision did not abolish the dietary laws.  Only someone spiritually blind could ever think so.  See my, So, You Call Yourself A Christian... (76pp., 5.50 + P&H), which explains Peter’s Vision and every other New Testament passage which people think abolished the dietary laws.  My people are destroyed because they lack understanding.]

God does all things first and foremost for HIMSELF, not for us.  God even forgives the sins of the elect of His people who repent FOR HIS OWN SAKE—

“I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for Mine Own Sake,* and will not remember thy sins.” (Isaiah 43:25)

This does not mean that He does not forgive us for our sake also, but our wishes and desires and needs are second to His... that in all things HE might have the pre-eminence.  All sin is first and foremost against God.  God is Supreme and first and foremost all things are for Him, for His Glory, for His Own Good Pleasure (even if finite and faulty minded, sinful humans don’t understand how; even if stubborn carnal hearts don’t agree).

All that is screwed up in the world, all that is corrupt, immoral, perverse, that causes suffering and tyranny is the result of humanists who fancy themselves as “Christians”, attempting to dissect the Word of God like a biology class frog, and like a child who takes apart a clock and then puts it back together and then throws out all the “left over, unnecessary parts”... who think they have the magic touchstone to determine (ILLOGICALLY) which parts of God’s Word are “obsolete” and to be discarded.  The inevitable result is that those who continue their unholy work will eventually throw the entire Bible out with the trash.  God informs us that Judgment will begin in the House of God (that is, with His children)—because we His people know better (or ought to, if we obeyed His Command to meditate upon His Law day and night, and if we kept the feasts as He commanded in which the entire Law was read in the hearing of all the people).  Christ said that he who did not know his master’s will shall be beaten with few stripes, but he who knew (or was supposed to know and was perfectly capable of knowing, but refused to know*) his master’s will and did it not shall be beaten with many stripes.

[* —which I call the “Three Stooges Syndrome”.  One cries out, “I can’t see!  I can’t see!” and when the other truly concerned implores, “Why not?”, the first replies, “My eyes are closed!”  That describes most Christians.  But ignorance is no excuse for disobeying the law and ignorance itself in most cases is a choice.  Ignorant sin is sin nonethless and it is compounded sin when one chooses to be ignorant instead of read God’s Word as commanded.  Christians have time for vacations and movies and t.v. and superbowl, holiday and birthday and anniversary parties, but claim that they just don’t have time to read God’s Word.  Or they claim that it is “too hard to understand”—and if that is the case, that is more evidence that they are unconverted.]

Christ’s death replaced (but did not abolish), fulling perfectly, eternally the sacrifices for sin / atonement for the elect of God’s people who are those who repent (and as evidence of their true conversion, live in obedience to God, repenting when they sin; not pretending that God needs no longer to be obeyed).   Christ’s death did not abolish the law of gravity or the First or Second Laws of Thermodynamics or any other “natural” law or Divinely revealed, commanded law other than those few laws that provided temporary atonement for sins through the blood sacrifice of spotless, innocent animal victims.  What was abolished was the CURSE of the Law, the JUDGEMENT—the death sentence that was against us, because Christ bore it in His Own Body and paid it for us Himself.  The dietary laws, economic laws, racial laws, marital laws, sexual relation laws, Sabbaths / Feasts,* agricultural laws DID NOT HAVE A THING to do with atonement and none of those laws were abolished or “fullfilled” or replaced in Christ’s Death because they had nothing to do with propitiation for our sin.  There is a moral foundation and physical reason why God gave each law and Christ said “not one jot or tittle shall pass from the Law”.  If you break a window in your house YOU DON'T THROW YOUR WHOLE HOUSE AWAY AND GET A NEW HOUSE (if you do, you are an idiot); you replace the window.

[Those who think the Sabbath and Feasts were “fulfilled” in Christ, don’t understand Scripture.  Just because Christ is our Passover does not mean we are not to observe that which we were commanded to observe throughout all our generations forever; Passover was not a sacrifice for sins.  It was and is an act of obedience, a lesson / illustration, and a memorial—to remind us the consequences of disobedience and rebellion—and God’s Powerful and miraculous (to us) deliverance when we repent.  It is really amazing that “Christians” think that God will deliver them in the final persecution when they are faithless and don’t obey His Commands to observe the feasts which are memorials of His Deliverance!  When Christ said of what we call communion, “this do in remembrance of me" it was at the end of the Feast of Passover (which runs concurrent with the First Day of Unleavened Bread, since the passover lamb was to be eaten with unleavened bread; and bitter herbs, served with the Passover Meal are to remind us of affliction due to our sin in not doing all that God commanded, and our need for repentance).  If one does not keep passover and yet takes communion he is not doing “this” in remembrance of Christ as He commanded and his keeping communion is doing what he wants instead of what Christ commanded.  Only self-imagined “liberated slaves” think that they have the right to take liberties in obeying what their Master commanded; thinking them more as “good ideas” or “rough guidelines” rather than commands.

Just because Christ is our Rest does not mean that He replaced / abolished the Sabbath, which was commanded throughout all our generations forever.  God Himself rested on the Sabbath to set the example and those who think that they don’t need to honor the Sabbath exalt themselves above God.  God would not even allow any work on His own Tabernacle or Temple to be done on the Sabbath—so what work or self-pleasure do you have that is more important than God’s Temple (which ye are or are supposed to be; and that Temple is to be Holy, set apart, and dedicated for GOD’S USE the way HE commanded, not as man—deluded, self-righteous Christians especially—wants to live).  Christ’s Death replaced, fulfilled ONLY the part of the Law that dealt with atonement for sins, which the Sabbaths or Feasts did not do.  Tell me, how many Christians who claim the above anti-intellectual arguments eat bread (or any food) and drink water (or any fluid)...?  Christ is the Bread of Life and the Living Water.  How can you claim that Christ is your Rest, and not rest as He commanded, yet you know He is the Bread of Life and the Living water and you still eat and drink...?  Christ is also the True Vine.  Do you eat any fruit, drink fruit juice or wine?  We are to be clothed in Christ’s Righteousness, do you wear clothes?  Christ is the Light of the world.  Do you have light bulbs in your house, headlights on your car, do you ever use a flashlight?  God hallowed the Sabbath and commanded that we observe it throughout all our generations forever.  What is there to not understand?  no New Testament says that the Sabbath was changed to Sunday.  For more-in depth evidence, see my, Ten Commandments for Youth.

Most Christians do not understand the Scriptures because they have not even begun to think.  They don’t want to, because their vapid anti-intellectual arguments would be shown to be naked, and they then would have to give up the traditions with which they are comfortable, rather than obey God.  The Israelites in Egypt had stopped obeying God’s Commandments (which had been transmitted orally from Patriarch to Patriarch since Adam) and that is why God had them become enslaved.  Once led out of Egypt, they had a lot to learn and a lot to repent of and a lot to turn from, and were commanded instead to obey what God commanded—and the majority wanted to go back to Egypt to bondage so they could enjoy the things that they liked!  Modern Christendom is little different—and that is why Christendom is in bondage and about to be destroyed by Egypt (the world) and Babylon (“confusion by mixing”—the alien Third World).

So Christians engage in talking around the issues, and when they cannot refute sound Biblical argument, they simply dummy up and refuse to talk about it (and even attack you) and continue to live the way that they want to.  If you read through the books of Judges, Kings, and Chronicles (or even Numbers and Deuteronomy or Ezra through Malachi) you will see how hard hearted, sinful, selfish, and godless most Israelites were; and most Christians are no different.  They have a form of godliness, but deny the power (dynamic reality of God) thereof.  They don’t actually believe in God.  If they did, they would fear and obey Him; not spin the roulette wheel of life thinking it will land on “lucky 7” and God (if He even exists) will never judge them.  They don’t know God.  He is not in all their thoughts.  They think that they are their own moral “free agents”.  They have no desire to obey God unless what God demands is something that they want to do; and thus, they have no desire to obey God at all.  God merely receives “collateral blessing” in that He is “obeyed” the 2% of the time that His people don’t mind doing what He commanded.  But like a dog or children or servants, the rest of the time, God is expected by the average “Christian” just to “be quiet and leave me alone; if I need You I will call for You”.  And Christians wonder why we are under judgment! (those few who are not so brainwashed that they actually realize that we are under judgment and that all of Christendom is about to fall to the savages).]

Scripture says those who say that they know God and don’t keep His Commandments are liars and the Truth is not in them; that is, they don’t know God and Christ / the Holy Spirit is not in them.  This applies to all those who think that God abolished His Law, or who think that they they can pick and choose via “Smorgasbord Theology” WHICH LAWS by their own decree, they think that they need to keep, or which they don’t mind keeping, and the rest is tossed out in the garbage while they go back to the desert bar for more strawberry shortcake.  By doing so, they declare themselves to be God: if they are the ones with the Divine authority to determine whether God needs to be obeyed or whether God was having an “off day” when He thought up and imposed all those “senseless” laws that “wore out”.

“It is a fearful thing to fall into the Hands of the Living God.”

Those who don’t fear and obey God and don’t even care whether or not they may be sinning against Him, don’t even know Him (and if they think that they do, they are deluded).  They have no concept of Holiness because they are not of God; or at least, hopefully, God has not yet quickened them to realize the importance of Eternity and believe unto salvation and be converted.  Those who don’t live as God commanded have not been regenerated.

“If any man be in Christ he is a new creature; old things are passed away, behold all things are become new.” (II Corinthians 5:17)

“Walk in the Spirit and ye shall not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.”

“Every tree is known by its fruit.”

“He that saith he abideth in Him ought himself also so to walk, even as He walked.” (I John 2:6)

“19What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost Who is in you, Whom ye have of God, and ye are not your own?  20For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” (I Corinthians 6)

The Westminster Catechism asks:

“What is the chief end of man?”

“Answer: Man’s chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy him for ever.”

End does not mean termination.  If that were the case man’s chief end would be to lie in the grave and rot.

However, The Westminster Catechism obscures the truth penned by Solomon, which it echoes, when Solomon sums up all universal truth in one sentence:

“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep His Commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.” (Ecclesiastes 12:13)

The Westminster Catechism’s wording is deficient on several counts.  The phrase, “enjoy him forever” is actually a bit humanistic.  God is not a tool that man uses for his own happiness.  Furthermore, it is not merely our “end”, but our duty—and destiny—to obey God.  Only through obedience is there blessing (happiness / enjoyment).  Finally, Solomon did not say “chief”, but WHOLE, and there is a world of difference.  If God’s Holy Spirit is actually in someone who claims to be a “Christian”, the Holy Spirit convicts that person of the knowledge of the truth in what God Commands, and convicts him of his guiltiness, gives that person the desire to obey, and empowers him to actually obey.  Obedience then brings God’s blessing / happiness.

God is Holy.  What He declared to be sin never becomes non-sin.  What He declared to be abominations never become wholesome or holy.  What He declared to be evil never becomes good.  “Let God be true and every man a liar”—that is, while God will ever be True, man will ever be untrue—unless man repents and humbles himself and submits to what God decreed.  “Every knee shall bow.”  The only difference is whether each will bow out of love and respect and submission; or out of being vanquished as a foe before being cast into Hell.  Those who choose to believe that Hell is a myth, will one day repent of their stupidity and arrogance, but then it will be too late.*  Sadly, some people may only learn to appreciate the value of what they had (or almost had) after they lose it forever.

Why Can’t I Own a Canadian?

October 2002

Dr. Laura Schlessinger is a radio personality who dispenses advice to people who call in to her radio show. Recently, she said that, as an observant Orthodox Jew, homosexuality is an abomination according to Leviticus 18:22 and cannot be condoned under any circumstance. The following is an open letter to Dr. Laura penned by an east coast resident, which was posted on the Internet. It’s funny, as well as informative:

[First of all, the issue is not that “to an observant Orthodox Jew” that homosexuality is an abomination.  It is not a matter of personal or religious taste.  It is an abomination to God.  It is an abomination in any way, shape, or form.  Furthermore, no, the comments below are not “funny”.  They are blasphemous and reveal not only spiritual ignorance, but hatred of God.  Those “Christians” who think that it is funny are clueless.  R.A.B.]

Dear Dr. Laura:

Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God’s Law.  I have learned a great deal from your show, and try to share that knowledge with as many people as I can.  When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind them that Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination.  End of debate.  I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some of the other specific laws and how to follow them:

When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord - Lev.1:9. The problem is my neighbors.  They claim the odor is not pleasing to them.  Should I smite them?

[You are a moron.  You don’t care about the Word of God, though you get credit for knowing how to use a concordance.  Sacrifices ceased with the death of Christ.  It was not a “pleasing” odor to God; though that is the general mistranslation.  Burning flesh of animals is not a pleasing smell; it is an acrid and foul stench (just like our sin).  It was a smell of appeasment.  It was not satisfying in its odor; it was satisfying of the Divine Holy Wrath that demanded Judgment.  Furthmore, after the establishment of the Levitical Priesthood, individuals could not offer burnt offerings directly to God; they had to go through the Aaronic priests.   Asking if you should smite your neighbors for their not liking the smell is juvenile on top of your ignorance.  R.A.B.]

I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7.  In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?

[If she has a birth certificate and a social security number, you already sold her into slavery—you just didn’t get much money for her (other than a write-off as a dependant).  Based upon your sacrilegious, trite, and flippant attitude, I imagine that you did not raise her with morals and that she whored herself out, so you didn’t get anything out of that deal either.  R.A.B.]

I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness - Lev.15:19- 24.  The problem is, how do I tell?  I have tried asking, but most women take offense.

[Again, you show your stupidity and utter ignorance of the Bible (as well as your perverse nature and immoral mindset); other than a few factoids you extract with a concordance or search engine.  Being promiscuous is fornication and whoredom (and possibly adultery, if either party is married to someone else).  If you are married, your only relations should be with your wife and you will know her cycle and rarely have to ask.  You have no business asking another woman about her cycle because you have no business having relations with her.  R.A.B.]

Lev. 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations.  A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians.  Can you clarify?  Why can’t I own Canadians?

[It is not merely neighboring nations, but alien nations.  Slaves can also be taken in war.  Slaves can also be of kinsmen if they damaged you / robbed you financially greater than they were able to repay, or if any poor kinsman sells himself to a benevolant, successful kinsman to be his indentured servant, and after the expiration of the time of service, if he prefers to remain a bondsman to that master, rather than be free and have to provide for all his own needs.  You can own a Canadian.  However, you will be persecuted by the U.S. Government who illegally abolished slavery and no longer honors God’s Law.  You cannot expect to be able to live as God established in all areas in a nation that no longer recognizes God’s Law.  This is elementary.  Maybe you never passed that grade.  Furthermore, you cannot pick and choose which laws you want to obey or enjoy the benefits of.  As per your desire to commit whoredom in the previous verse, you yourself would be stoned to death.  R.A.B.]

I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath.  Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death.  Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?

[Again, you show your ignorance of Scripture because you are merely attempting to ridicule, and not actually asking from a sincere heart.  No, no Israelite ever had the authority to kill someone himself, independently in judgment.  If someone violated the law you would be required to bear witness against him to the judges, the judges would determine his guiltiness, and if guilty and the penalty was death, the judges would have the whole congregation stone the guilty parties.  The individual who had been wronged by their sin, or the closest relative would cast the first stone.  Only in cases of murder, if you were the closest, able family member to assume the part of blood avenger, could you seek the person out and kill him—but only after he had been judged by the judges.  If the death was manslaughter, not murder, he would have to live in a city of refuge and if he then left that city you would be free to kill him.  However, where there is room for mercy (in accidental deaths) then it would behoove you to show mercy, since God said that He would judge you in accordance to how you judged others.  R.A.B.]

A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination - Lev. 11:10, it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality.  I don’t agree.  Can you settle this?

[Well, no, because you were too stupid to be able to present his case as well as your case.  How can one judge between two nothings?  Abominations are abominations.  The penalty for them is death.  Attempting to split hairs in such issues is senseless.  But go ahead, have the best of both worlds and have sex with a clam and you will have committed two abominations and be worthy of two death sentences.  R.A.B.]

Lev. 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight.  I have to admit that I wear reading glasses.  Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?

[There shall be no wiggle room for you in anything, since your motivation for asking anything is mockery.  The blemish is not referring to poor sight, but an oozing sore.  Furthermore, unless you are a Levitical priest, you would not be approaching the altar to offer sacrifices you Philistine.   R.A.B.]

Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev. 19:27.  How should they die?

[No need to put them to death, living and having to be around you is a punishment worse than death.  But again, you flaunt your ignorance.  By cross-referencing other passages, and considering the prohibition here in context, you would see that shaving the hair of the face or head in a specific manner was a pagan practice that was performed in some ritual for the dead, even with the hope of communicating with them or obtaining some power.  Yes, it seems silly to those who are civilized, but that’s how stupid pagans are; just like some people who believe in good luck charms or who are superstitious.  Finally, there is no judgment of death mentioned in this passage, so you again are impotently attempting to mock God’s Holiness and Justice; but one day you will not be mocking.  R.A.B.]

I know from Lev. 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?

[There is actually very little that you know about the Bible.  What you think you know, you don’t, because you misunderstand what you think that you know.  The issue is a dead animal of any kind, not merely a pig.  But what is referred to is the rotting carcass.  Unclean animals are not unclean to touch, except for the purpose of food, or if they are dead.  Christ rode the foal of an ass.  God never forbade riding a horse, ass, pony (mistranslated “mule”), or camel.  John the Baptist wore a garment of camel hair and a leather girdle / belt.  God made Adam and Eve clothes from sheep.  The Israelites wore wool or fur or skins.  The tabernacle was made of fur and skins.  You truly have no shame or knowledge of your own ignorance.  R.A.B.]

My uncle has a farm.  He violates Lev. 19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend).  He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot.  Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? - Lev.24:10-16.  Couldn’t we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)

[Again, ignorance.  The prohibition of mingling seed in the field is referring to plants that are separate species (not merely separate cultivars or varieties of a species or kind) that have the chance of hybridizing.  Yes, wearing clothing of mixed fabric God forbade.  You will have all eternity in Hell to contemplate your own blasphemy as well as your mockery of any law that God commanded.  Many laws mirror the command for separation of God’s people from aliens, to show that they don’t belong together; like yoking an ox and ass together, hybridizing crops or livestock, and wearing garments of mixed fabric. R.A.B.]

I know you have studied these things extensively, so I am confident you can help.  Thank you again for reminding us that God’s word is eternal and unchanging.

Your devoted fan,

Jim

[If you spent as much time and effort in actually learning as you do ridiculing, you might actually understand something instead of demonstrating what a fool you are.

“1    Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

2    The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against His Anointed, saying,

3    Let us break Their bands asunder, and cast away Their cords from us.

4    He that sitteth in the Heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

5    Then shall He speak unto them in His Wrath, and vex them in His Sore Displeasure.” (Psalm 2)
