MANY who thought that they were “good Christians”—even doing “wonderful works” in His Name, will hear, 

“And then will I [Christ] profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity [anomia; lawlessness].” (Matthew 7:23)

“works” (obedience to all that God commanded, which is His Standard of Morality that never changes) do NOT add to salvation; rather, true regeneration produces the fruit that God ordained.
