American Football - how many players on a team...? The REAL answer will shock you.

Actually, there are very few football players / athletes on an American football team... the only true players are the ones who actually touch the ball on a regular basis... the rest are merely a flesh-and-blood barricade. How can a person be a "football player" if he never / cannot / has no ability to catch, run with, or pass (or kick) a football...? In what other major sport does 3/4 or more of the team merely "stand in the way" and "take up space" and never touch the ball / puck...? "Hey, you're a professional football player... wow, let's play catch...!" "Oh, sorry, I don't know how to throw a football." "Well, let ME throw it to YOU then." "Uh... sorry, I don't know how to catch the ball either..." American football is reflective of the U.S. and the U.S. "government" in general — just a few people do anything and the rest just get in the way and get paid for it...!
