— The Invasion of the Barbarians and the End of Christendom
One possible end-time scenario.

My comments:
Don’t just read Psalm 91, live it.
Who would have thought that Christendom could fall, that it was in danger, that it would be threatened to come to an end? Not since the invasion of the Turks, Saracens, Moors, Huns, and Tatars 1000+ years ago was that thought in anyone’s mind.
A house does not collapse from termites overnight. This has been nearly a century in the making. Turning from God’s Law, morality, common sense, sheepishly turning a blind eye and ignoring injustice perpetrated against our own people. God said if you turn a deaf ear to the cry of the poor (our kinsmen who are oppressed, in need) He would turn a deaf ear to you when you cried out in need. You reap what you sow. Is it too late to start sowing righteousness? It is the only option. Repent.
George Washington, our first president, made a declaration that we might take to heart as we now possibly face our last president.
“You took the good things for granted—now you must earn them again. For every right that you cherish, you have a duty that you must fulfill. For every hope that you entertain, you have a task that you must perform. For every good that you wish to preserve, you will have to sacrifice your comfort and ease. There is nothing for nothing any longer.”
The “scourge of God” (the same peoples who over the past several millennia have been so used to chasten God’s people to repentance—Jews, Turks, Huns, Arabs, etc.—identities and natures do not change) is being raked across God’s people again... the purpose is to bring us to repentance. Will we truly repent or embrace the mud tsunami? Christ, the personification of wisdom declared, “He that sinneth against Me wrongeth his own soul; all those who hate Me love death” (Proverbs 8:36). Solomon also informed us: “There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” (Proverbs 14:12) God also threw down the gauntlet through Moses and declared to His vascilating, sinful people: “I have set before thee Life and Death: Choose life that thou and thy seed may live” (Deuteronomy 30:19).
“Repent, the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.” It is—every moment: for no man knoweth when he shall be called from this life to stand Judgment. When Christ returns, this time He will come to judge the world, and those who have not stood up for Him... according to what God commanded (separation and holiness and obedience to what He commanded: “we ought to obey God rather than men”) those who have not stood up for what is right, for what Christ would have stood up for, for what Christ would have obeyed God rather than man, who have not daily meditated upon His Word to see what He commands, and daily conform his life by repentance and obedience—Christ will not be returning to deliver such people from our enemies, but to destroy them along with the enemies for that is what they are. Christ said he who is not with Me is against Me, and he that gathereth not with Me, scattereth abroad. He who does not hold to Christ’s Doctrine (but that which pleases the world), who do not stand up when Christ would have stood up, who do not stand up when our kinsmen are persecuted, who are sheepish and quite in the face of myriad BLASPHEMIES... are not of Christ. They deny Him! Confessing Christ is not merely singing a hymn in church once a week. It is how you live every moment.
Those who don’t gather what Christ is gathering—SCATTER. What is Christ gathering? —HIS people whom God scattered and whom God said that He would regather. What is the harlot church gathering? —everything other than what God commanded. When you gather wheat, you discard everything that is not wheat. If instead, you keep everything that is not wheat while ignoring the wheat, you are scattering the wheat. Christ said give not that which is holy to to dogs and cast not pearls before swine lest they turn and rend (destroy) you. Christ gave a parable of the great draught of fishes in which all manner of fish were drawn in but the good were kept and the vile (putrid) were thrown away. God clearly said that ISRAEL is His sheep and that He scattered them and would send out hunters to find them and REGATHER HIS SHEEP. Those bringing wolves and wild boars into the sheepfold will not be given a nice pat on the head when Christ returns. If someone accidentally feeds his family rat poison instead of cream of wheat for breakfast... good intentions are meaningless when you have just killed your entire family.
What then will be God’s reaction to someone who kills the family of God? who is accomplice to the rape of Christ’s bride...? —who doesn’t know the difference between a pig and a sheep because he was too busy watching the Superbowl and all other manner of stupidity when the barbarians were invading? —even though God commanded us to study His Word daily, which reveals all these things?
God save your people. Save us from ourselves, our sin, our apathy, our fear, our ignorance, our stupidity, our immorality.
Once God’s people repent, He will destroy our enemies with a mere breath.
What are God’s people waiting on...? What keeps them from repenting? They want to take one or two last puffs off their dwindling cigarette before they step into church just before the sermon begins, having missed all the hymns of praise to their God because the cigarette was more important. Such persons will find like the parable of the virgins (in that the 5 foolish unfaithful virgins were shut out) the doors were shut and locked in their face while they enjoyed that last puff of their cigarette, or whatever they were doing that they deemed more important than doing what is right... what God commands.
Of all the people on my email list, I hear in reply only from a small handful, I feel like that old Smother’s Brother's song: “I talk to the trees, but they never listen to me... I talk to the stars, but they never hear me...”
A lone voice crying in the wilderness. Does anyone hear...? Will anyone else stand in the gap? If not, you may find yourself in outer darkness, not within the doors of the Kingdom, the sheepfold. Every tree is known by its fruit. Fruit is produced from the nature (not vice versa). What fruit do you bear? Where is it?
